CandlinFilm was founded in 2017 by filmmaker Joseph Candlin, more commonly known as Joe. It serves as the portfolio of the previous, ongoing and upcoming work of Joe as well as a platform to contact & interact with him.

Joe has studied Film Production at The University of Portsmouth and has acquired three years of experience in industry standard filmmaking across various levels of production roles including; Director of Photography, Editor (AVID MC101, Premiere, FCPX), Director, Colour Grader/Technician, AC Department, writer & more.

Prior to starting his studies in Portsmouth Joe was taking on videography production work, before deciding that he wanted to specialise in cinematography. The next few years saw Joe take on various creative projects including fiction shorts, documentaries, experimental filmmaking projects, Island City Stories as well assisting on numerous other projects.

Today, Joe is a filmmaker based in the videography field taking on similar projects to what he did prior to 2017 but with the backing of the experience and confidence gained from working in an intense creative environment over the last few years.
